The Teflen tube is fabricated by quality PTFE extrusion and sintering. Sintering is a conventional process used to convert powdery materials into dense bodies. It has been widely utilized for the production of ceramic, refractory, hyperthermal materials, and powder metallurgy.
The sintered dense body, after powder forming, is a polycrystalline material with a microstructure composed of crystal, vitreous body, and pore. The sintering process determines the size of crystal particles and pores in the microstructure, as well as the shape and distribution of crystal boundaries, thus affecting the material properties.
