The Teflen tube is fabricated by quality PTFE extrusion and sintering. Sintering is a conventional process used to convert powdery materials into a dense body. This process has been widely utilized in the production of ceramic, refractory, hyperthermal materials, and powder metallurgy.

 

The sintered dense body, obtained after powder forming, is a polycrystalline material with a microstructure composed of crystals, vitreous body, and pores. The sintering process determines the size of crystal particles and pores in the microstructure, as well as the shape and distribution of crystal boundaries, thus significantly affecting the material properties.
