Modeling and design of Teflen heat exchanger
It is an effective choice to use teflen heat exchanger to cool, condense or heat the chemical medium under the working conditions that many metal and nonmetal materials cannot adapt.
A, B and C shown in the figure are several basic forms of Teflen heat exchanger.

Type A: use teflen tube bundle to heat or cool the acid liquid in the storage tank, storage tank and other equipment.
Type B: the chemical medium is heated or cooled by heat exchange with the heat medium (or refrigerant) in the shell side through Teflen tubes. It is mainly suitable for heating or cooling the liquid chemical medium. The pressure of the medium should be in the range of 0.1-0.2mpa.
Type C: the chemical medium passes through the shell side of the heat exchanger, and the inner surface of the shell side must be lined with PTFE for anti-corrosion. Refrigerant (cooling water or frozen brine) or heat medium (hot water, steam and other heat transfer oil) pass through the tube side (polytetrafluoroethylene tube). Because the capacity of shell side is much larger than that of tube side, the heat exchange time between chemical medium and tube surface is longer. The heat transfer effect will be better, and the negative pressure state in the course will be allowed to operate. This type of heat exchanger is especially suitable for condensing and absorbing chemical evaporation gas (including negative pressure distillation).
